Dukes of Archery tournament

The Dukes of Archery tournament is the ultimate chance to experience what it is like to shoot at the Hyundai World Archery (Para) Championships 2019. Compound and recurve archers from all over the world and from all levels are invited to participate in the tournament. You might even shoot against one of the participants of the world championships!

Rules and participation

The qualification consists of 36 arrows for each participant. After this qualification, there are four rounds, with six arrows in each round. Finally a World Archery Alternate Finale will be shot by the best archers. So every archer will shoot at least 60 arrows.
The recurve archers shoot from 30 meters on a target of 80cm and compound archers will shoot from a 50 meters distance on a 80 cm 6 ring target. 

World Championship experience

The matches of the Dukes of Archery tournament are shot at rugby club the Dukes in 's-Hertogenbosch, the official qualifying venue of the World Archery (Para) Championships 2019. To make the experience even more special, the venue will be fully equipped in Archery2019 style, including tribune and video screens.  

Participation and prizes

Participation in the Dukes of Archery tournament can be perfectly combined with visiting the finals of the World Archery Championships at the Parade. The registration fee for Dukes of Archery is € 35, - (excluding 1.50 service costs). For the three best in each category, cash prizes of € 150, -, € 100, - and € 75, are provided. Familie and friends are very welcome to come and watch the tournament. Acces is free.
